About Us
Born in France. Made in America. Crafted to last.
After 30 years in the garment industry, ranging from owning a dye house in New Jersey and managing a large tie-dye production for the GAP, to producing designer clothing with her husband in Los Angeles, Christine Taieb created the brand Antarcti^Ka and founded Antarctika Home, LLC.
All designs draw inspiration from the couple's experiences living in Tunisia, France, Greece, Mexico, and on both the East and West Coasts of America. Each piece is handmade and hand-dyed in Los Angeles, crafted with the finest (and coziest) materials, and no animal fur is used.
Christine's extensive knowledge of fabrics, dyeing techniques, and novelty dye processes, along with her love of colors, inspired her to create, with her husband's help, a unique line of home décor. This includes blankets, baby blankets, pillows, a collection of stylish chef aprons, and, most recently, placemats.
